There are few part-time residents in MT and persons out of state even who opt to join this program for the benefits it offers. Many part-time residents do not like having their car sit for a long period of time, which can even cause damage to the car if proper preparations are not taken. If the car is financed there will still be a monthly expense for a car that has the potential to pay for itself. If it is paid off than the vehicle owner could earn a small stream of passive income.  How it would work leaving your vehicle with us: 

Currently we have a few people under this program and are accepting more. You would have your car payment covered and the car maintained while you are away. We would need your schedule ahead of time to block out the dates you would want the car back. If unsure, we can also make it so that people can only book for the current month but suggest up to two months as a good amount of guests book in advance. You can keep your car listed for as long or as short as you want!

For the months of  mid October, November, April, and May it will be the slowest and lowest earning months out of the year. During these months I can't guarantee your car payment can be fully made as a car might make just over its car payment and there will still be the operating expenses. We can detail this out further when finalizing the deal.

I, Rocky, and another employee I have take over when I can't get to the cars will need our names added as additional drivers on your insurance policy. The vehicles rarely get moved and usually stay within 2 miles of its pick up location but for instances where it needs to go to the car wash, or refill gas/ put air in tires we would be driving them. During Turo trips it has liability coverage on the car for the guest. Turo provides its own travelers insurance coverage during the trip and damage protection plans. Rocky Road Rentals LLC also sends invoices for any damage a guest incurs that their insurance provider may not cover. 

The owner of the vehicle is responsible for the cost of new tires/winter changeovers and registration/ fees. Rocky Road Rentals may provide assistance with tires in the form of in-stock tires kept on hand, finding local tire deals, making and going to appointments.
